My fiancé and I went here to celebrate our engagement last February. Excellent food and the most wonderful staff I have ever encountered. Definitely the best spot in Santa Fe.
And don’t even get me started on the elk... absolutely succulent. I’m glad y’all show here how that is prepared
Makes me wanna book a flight to Santa Fe and check out all the food there...well done
Midnight Cravings damn son.you are everywhere.
The owners look like real nice people. Adding this to the bucket list for sure
Excellent video, interviews and presentation all natural and informative, relaxed. Wish I could try the elk. I have had elk several times, but that prep and presentation looks like a winner.
Eater going to new mexico! Awesome!

Morels…morels…morels…with elk…😵💫…so happy…

Wow, this dude said people in Santa go hunt for elk.haha no. Maybe the locals who are from new mexico do but majority of Santa Fe who are transplants or who come and live 3 months out of the year because of the "art and culture" do not hunt.
Pura Zacatecas!
lmao the ending
what is that 'Scopa ?' thing wrapping elk meat? can someone tell me? please
He's saying "caul fat".
Caul fat is the thin webbing that surrounds the internal organs of animals such as pigs and cows. Thanks for watching!
oh... thanks :)
Took my new girlfriend there in 1988. We are still together with 2 grownup daughters. It was a great date that we still talk about.
My uncle works there
What kind of milk did he say?

Nick has his own youtube channel now, independent of Eater. Thanks for watching!

Grumpy Cat he's out Naziing somewhere
"That's why we roll this in skull fat" ?? 3:06
Caul fat. It's a thin membrane that surrounds the stomach, intestines, and a few other organs.
Thank you for the clarification! I replayed it several times and I couldn't figure out what he was saying...
Better get some Wendy’s before going so you won’t leave hungry with those small portions. Looks good though.
I love Santa Fe, but this food is diabetes's waiting to happen 😪
10/10 donald would come again
Is that supposed to be a supreme hat? Because if that's supposed to be an S logo then they're smoking crack because it looks nothing like it should.
it's definitely not supreme lol, and i'm pretty sure they're not trying to pass it off as being supreme either. There are plenty of other things that start with s. Supreme weren't the first to put an s on a hat. It's most likely just from a university
Jonathan Lozano oh, I know. I agree 100%. I just have a supreme s logo in that exact same colorway pretty much. Look up the felt a logo from this season. Looks identical color wise.
pretty sure it’s a stussy S cap from their spring collection
It’s the S from Syracuse University
Bring back the meat show!!!!
John Cheung He has a new channel where he basically does the meat show still
Not saying the food is not good just not authentic New Mexico food!
I don't think they know what iconic means.
totally made up New Mexico food!, it is truly their own version of what they think New Mexico food should be . I am a Native New Mexican and I Know.
Where would you suggest going instead? :)
This is just another tourist trap high price restaurant. Not a new mexicen icon at the very least. Cool food not new mexican, maybe inspired where is the green and red chili at?
@@maniswolftoman legendary.... No no. Just No. not in the slightest
@@maniswolftomanand I'm sure you no nothing about New Mexico it's culture or cuisine.

87 was a long time ago. Coyote is a relic. And the food today is lacking. Hard pass.
